An Intro to Constellation Work Demo ~ Let's Talk Turkey

Heard of Family Constellations* or Systemic Constellations but just can’t seem to wrap your head around it? Can’t really understand how a group of strangers can help you resolve relationship conflicts or complex problems without knowing the every detail of your specific situation? Then join us in a demonstration of constellation work where we aim to give you the experience of being in a constellation in a light-hearted, fun way. This is an active participation demonstration to give all attendees the opportunity to experience relationship conflict and complex problem resolution in constellation.

This month our theme is Let’s Talk Turkey! We’ll constellate a family gathering typical of what many of us will be looking forward to … or trying to avoid this Thanksgiving. As a group we’ll start with constellating some of those common conflicts that may come up in your family before the event such as whose house, the food, the football … through any post mortems. Working through these issues before the actual activities can smooth things over or eliminate problems entirely so that this Thanksgiving can seem more like a comedy than a tragedy. And all without having to bring your whole family with you!

Does your entire family get along like the Waltons? Great! Join us and bring that into the constellation too so those who’ve never experienced such a thing (or thought it could even exist) can get the sense of what this can be like and work toward this very real possibility.

During the second half of the demo we'll show you how to constellate anything you need to without a group of people ... by simply using common objects as representative for the people or issues involved in the situation you'd like to change.

Demonstration Agenda

After a brief introduction we will begin building a constellation with this months theme as the agenda. We usually wrap it up in about 45 minutes.

After the constellation we'll take about a 15 minute break to get a beverage or snack, stretch our legs or what ever else.

After the break we will demonstrate how you can constellate any situation yourself using objects as representatives. We will draw an attendees ticket stub and for the winner, we will co-facilitate the winners specific issue of choice. Sometimes we have enough time for two people to win a free constellation!
